Hanukkah lamp made of silver (marked), cast and engraved.
The back side is decorated with flowery patterns. At the head of the lamp, a Torah crown. At its center, a pair of lions carrying the Two Stone Tablets (a separate silver hammered plaque, connected with screws to the back side).
A row of lion-shaped fonts, fenced off by chains and a holding rod. The head of each lion opens to enable the insertion of oil and from its mouth emerges a narrow tube for the wick. On both sides of the fonts, a crouching lion on a raised platform.
The font of the Shamash and the oil jug are missing.
Height: 29 cm. Maximum width: 34 cm.
Weight: 1,850 gram.
A beautiful lamp!
Condition: Very well preserved.
