Torah pointer. Particularly impressive. Europe, the second half of the 19th century (circa 1860-1890).
Cast silver, wood, mother-of-pearl and gilded brass.
The upper part is made of gilded brass. The handle is shaped as a sphere with impressive engraved decorations of winding plants. Between the two parts of the handle - mother-of-pearl. The lower part is made of silver. The body of the pointer is made of wood.
Two stamps of the artist (worn due to age and therefore difficult to decipher).
26.5 cm.
Condition: Very Good. Signs of wear due to the age of the item.
