The case
A very special case made of silver and bronze. Cast silver, engraved and cut (the silver has been examined).
The case is shaped like a castle on four lion-shaped stems (made of cast bronze).
The body is cylindrical, widening upward, decorated with engraved bricks with narrow windows on its upper part. A pointed tower with a spread-winged eagle above it. On the corners, four small secondary towers. A door or handle to pull out the scroll. The handle of the scroll is under the castle, between the lions.

The scroll
An Esther scroll written on parchment, Beit Yosef Script - Ashkenaz. Decorated with impressive colorful hand-illustrations, the work of an artist.
On the reverse side of the scroll, a Hebrew inscription: "…this Esther Scroll was written according to the book 'Tikun Sofrim' by Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev here in Jerusalem…"
"Tikun Sofrim Ve'Tikun Korim" is the bible designed as a guide for scribes writing a copy of the bible by hand. By Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Kravtzov of Berditchev, who was a scribe and prayer leader at the synagogue of Berditchev. It was printed for the first time in Berditchev in 1898 and later in additional editions.

The illustrations
Each column is written between two illustrated pillars, styled as a gate.
The heads of the columns are written in the shape of arch.
At the head of each column, a pair of lions holding a medallion with a tiny illustration of the Zodiac signs.
At the bottom of the columns, the symbols of the Twelve Tribes. Each illustration has a nice frame.
On each sheet there is an illustration of a figure from the Scroll. On the sheet of Haman's ten sons, an illustration of the sons hanging from a tree.
The illustrations are in different colors, including gold, and are most impressive.
The Scroll includes 15 columns. "Ha'Melech" Scroll: most columns begin with the word "Ha'Melech".

Width of the parchment: 10 cm. length of scroll: 1 meter.
Height of the case: Approximately 27 cm.
