a. Levush HaTechelet and Levush HaChur - Orach Chaim. This section contains the introduction of “The proofreader who is responsible for the writing”, Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh of Modena.

In part one is an inscription and signature at the top of the title page: “I will bless the name of G-d who gave his servant Avraham HaCohen from Kamarina this pleasant book, I will plead before G-d that he and his sons and his son’s sons will study it for many years forever…”.
In the title page is an inscription: “Reached…Yeuhda son of Rabbi Avraham HaCohen”.
The aforementioned inscription and signatures also appear in part four.

In parts 1, 2, 3 (especially in part 1) are halachic glosses in the handwriting of the aforementioned Rabbi Avraham HaCohen. On page 99 is an interesting gloss which mentions the custom of the “Beit Yosef” when leaving the Succah.
At the top of the title page of part three is one seems to be a signature: “C Natan”. Signatures: “The young one Emmanuel Balilus”.

This complete set belonged to Rabbi Mordechai Isaac Rabinowitz Salant (1856-1920), grandson of Rabbi Mordechai of Bauska, author of “Gedulat Mordechai” and disciple of Rabbi Yisrael of Salant. Av Beit Din of Ligum in the Šiauliai region from 1887. In 1902 he was appointed Av Beit Din of Salant, a position he filled until his death.
In part four is a scholarly gloss in his handwriting.
