Special sermon for a Bar Mitzvah. At the beginning of the manuscript it was written: "a sermon I have written for the pleasant student Yitzchak son of the late Yechezkel David Matalon … for the month of Adar 5646 [1886]".
On leaf 6, it was written: "Otherwise I have shown the Hassid Rabbi of Jerusalem Agan Ha'Sahar who interpreted the verses…" - he is referring to the Rishon Le'Zion Rabbi Avraham Chaim Gagin, who was called "Agan".
The writer's identity is unknown.
11 leaves written on both their sides. Nice, orderly, aligned script. 16.5 cm.
Condition: Very Good. Thick, high-quality leaves.
