Extremely Rare Document of the "Tiferet Zion" Yeshiva - Signatures of the Most Prominent Rabbis: Rabbi Ya'akov Yisrael Kanievsky, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Gershonowitz and Rabbi Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz - 1942
A certificate given to the student “Naftali Tafli from Jerusalem”, testifying that he excelled in the general examination which was carried out by “The great Rabbis of Bnei Brak, Rabbi Warhaftig and Rabbi Yaakov Yisrael Kanievsky, led by the Gaon the righteous man the Chazon Ish”. Bnei Brak, August 28, 1942.
The certificate is signed with the handwritten signatures of the examining committee and the management of the Yeshiva: Rabbi Yaakov Yisrael Kanievsky the “Steipler” (and his stamp), Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Gershonowitz (the Rosh Yeshiva), Rabbi Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz (a lecturer in the yeshiva, Rabbi Gershonowitz’s son-in-law) and Rabbi Yaakov Shneidman (director and founder of the yeshiva). The yeshiva’s stamp.
Condition: Very Good. Folding marks. Tiny hole in the center, with no damage to text.
