A large collection of photographs which includes original and rare photographs of the rabbis and students of the Slabodka Yeshiva in Kaunas and pictures of the first students who were sent to found the yeshiva in Hebron. The photographs were kept for dozens of years in the private archive of Rabbi Aharon Milevsky, who was one of the first ten students of the yeshiva in Hebron. The collection also contains photographs of his friends and his rabbis at the "Sha'ar Ha'Torah" Yeshiva of Grodno, headed by the head of Yeshiva Rabbi Shimon Shkop (Rabbi Milevsky was his student at this yeshiva).
All the photographs are original. Some of them are special and significant. All were very well preserved and in very good condition.
An important collection which has never been seen in auctions!

Photographs of rabbis
• Passport photo of Rabbi Shimon Shkop, had of "Sha'ar Ha'Torah" yeshiva. Grodno, circa 1921. 4x5.5 cm.
• Rare photograph (shaped as a postcard) depicting Rabbi Natan Zvi Finkel, the "Saba" of Slabodka, holding a book. In the picture, he is not wearing his glasses. 8x14 cm.
• Two different photographs (shaped as a postcard) depicting the "Saba" of Slabodka leaning on his cane. 8x13 cm.
• Photograph of Rabbi Yosef Ya'akov Rosenberg, the Rabbi of east Alytus. 8x13 cm.
• Photograph of Rabbi Yitzchal Hutner, lying on a hammock beside his, Rabbi Milevsky is sitting. West Alyus, the summer of 1931. 5x8 cm.
• Photograph of a celebration in Alytus, 1937. At the center of the picture, Rabbi Yehuda Yavlonsky and Rabbi Aharon Milevsky. 5x8 cm.

A nice photograph from 1923 depicting twelve students of the Slabodka Yeshiva during a summer vacation in a wood near Kaunas. Most of the student became important rabbis and heads of yeshivas.

Nine nice photographs of trips around the country made by the students of the Slabodka Yeshiva during their first years as students of the yeshiva in Hebron.

• Photographed postcard of the "holy yeshiva Knesset Yisrael" in Hebron". "Zion" photography studio. Y. Berlind, Jerusalem, [the 1920's]. Montage of the student sand rabbis of the yeshiva shaped as a star-of-David with pictures of the Western Wall, Rachel's Tomb and more. 8.5x13.5 cm.

Photographs of important events
• Photograph of a meeting of rabbis in Lithuania. An impressive photograph. Several rabbis are depicted, Rabbi Reuven Bengis among them. Rare and important photograph! Th eyear is not noted. 17x12 cm. small tears.
• A photograph of the participants of a meeting of rabbis in Lithuania. Kislev, 1930. On the reverse side of the photograph it was written: "a souvenir for our honorable friend Rabbi … Milevsky … rabbi of Alytus, from the secretariat of the union of rabbis of Lithuania. David Itzkowitz" (the secretary). 11x17 cm. small tears.
• Photograph of the presidency table of a meeting of rabbis in Lithuania. Kislev 1930. Twelve important rabbis are depicted. Among them: Rabbi Reuven Bengis, Rabbi Avraham Kahana Shapira of Kaunas and the secretary Reb David Itzkowitz. On the reverse die, a dedication, mostly erased, to Rabbi Milevsky from David Itzkowitz. 11x16 cm.
• Chevrat Shas U'Mishna in West Alytus. About twety people, some of them old. 8x13 cm.
• Postcard of the ship on which Rabbi Milevsky and his friends sailed to the Land of Israel. 19.9.1924. on the side, Rabbi Milevsky added years later: "I have left the country on the eve of Parashat Balak … 1929". 9x14 cm.
• Photograph of many honored figures with an important rabbi at their center. Th eyear is not noted. Unidentified location. 6x9 cm.
