Sifra Torat Cohanim, by the Tana Rabbi Yehuda. Venice, 1545. Daniel Bomberg printing press.
On the title page of the book, inside the frame of the title page, several signatures that someone tried to erase; however, inside the frame, on its left upper part, one can read: "I have purchased with my money to worship my God Chaim Yosef David Azulai S.T."
In addition, beside the above inscription and signature, a calligraphic curl which had not been erased and in which the following words can be read: "Chaim Yosef David" - that is, an additional, unfamiliar signature of the Chida. It is most likely that this is a real discovery! In addition, on the reverse side of the title page, another inscription: "לדרוש מצרים עיין מאמר ש"ט באלפא ביתא אות ט'". . This inscription is in handwriting identical to that of the Chida.
Attached is confirmation by an expert identifying the inscription and signature as the Chida's handwriting.
Rabbi Chaim Yosef David Azulai ben Yitzhak Zerachia Ha'Cohen (1724 -1806), commonly known as the Chida (the acronym of his name‎), was a Jerusalem born rabbinical scholar, a noted bibliophile, and a pioneer in the publication of Jewish religious writings.
On leaf 58, a signature: "…Moshe Borgel S.T" - the grandson of Rabbi Natan Borgel and the fifth and youngest child of Rabbi Eliyahu Chai Borgel, author of "Migdanot Natan". He died in 1850 from a Cholera epidemic in Tunis.

59 leaves (according to the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book). Before us are 60 leaves including the title page. Mispagination. Several leaves were most likely bounded not in order.
Condition: Fair. Flaws with omissions. Moth holes. Wear. Ancient binding.
