A letter of Rabbi Isaiah Asher Zelig Margaliyot to the lord Rabbi Avraham Kahn

A letter (undated) from Rabbi Isaiah Asher Zelig Margaliyot to the lord Rabbi Avraham Kahn. Together with the letter, Rabbi Margaliyot sent his book 'Ashrei Ha'Ish'. In the letter, he asks Rabbi Kahn to distribute the book among his acquaintances and family members, "as it is most necessary that the book be in every Jewish household." He also notes that "I am hunted by criminals, and it is a stressed hour for me, and my young children are dependent on me." Rabbi Isiah asks that the payment for the book be transferred to him by Rabbi Kahn via Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich, rabbinical court judge of Shimloi, one of the greatest religious decisors of Hungary, or via the Grand Rabbi of Munkatsch, Rabbi Chaim Elazar Shapira, the author of 'Minchat Elazar'. At the end of his letter, he adds "And I will pray to G-d in the holy places for the supporters of my Yeshiva."
Rabbi Isaiah Margaliyot (1894-1969) was an important and famous scholar in Jerusalem and the author of many books. He was close to the Saba Kadisha, Rabbi Shlomo Eliezer Alfandri and the Kabbalist Rabbi Chaim Shaul HaCohen Dweik.
