A letter from the Grand Rabbi of Pittsburgh, Rabbi Yosef Leifer – The Three Weeks

A letter handwritten and signed by the Grand Rabbi of Pittsburgh, Rabbi Yosef Leifer to his brother Rabbi Meir Leifer of Cleveland. No date.
The letter was sent during the Three Weeks [of mourning, before Tisha B'Av] and the Grand Rabbi writes in it: "That which you wrote me that you wish to visit my sanctuary, surely if you had done so, you would have brought me joy and happiness." He then describes his daughter's health and ends with a prayer for consolation for all Israel that "the fifth fast [Tisha B'av] soon become a day of happiness and joy."
