A large Yahrzeit board printed after the Holocaust. In the upper left hand side is the following inscription: “'For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water. Yahrzeit Tabl. Remember what Amalek did unto thee.” Under the inscription there is a picture of a crematorium and a concentration camp. There are three additional illustrations of the Western Wall, the Tombs of the Davidic Royal Dynasty, and the Tomb of Rachel the Matriarch.
The board is framed.
54.5X44 cm.
Good condition. There are tears. Was partially restored.
