Letter sent by the Chief Rabbi of the State of Israel, Rabbi Isser Yehuda Unterman, to the Rabbinate in Geneva, Switzerland. Rabbi Unterman confirms that one of Tel-Aviv’s residents is “an Auschwitz survivor, and naturally his economic situation is not well”. He asks for help in providing medical attention for this individual.
The letter is dated to the early years of the State of Israel, and is signed by hand by Rabbi Unterman’s.
