An Illustrated Shiviti Board Written in Calligraphic Writing, Holland [?] 19th Century
10x19 cm. On a hard back for protection: 19x27 cm.
A Shiviti board written on gevil illustrated in gilded ink with a decorated border. On the top are illustrations of leaves in blue, gold and red and the words "Sarei Moshe". Underneath is written in black ink: "May it be Your will Hashem our G-d and the G-d of out fathers to have mercy upon us and forgive all of our sins and atone all of our transgressions and forgive all of our willful sins". In the center is a "Lamnatzeach" Menorah with the writing "Shiviti HaShem L'Negdi Tamid" at its side in different colors. At the bottom is the continuation: "And build the Temple speedily in our days and we will offer the Tamid sacrifice before You which we atone for us as You wrote about us in Your Torah through Moshe".
