Toras Chaim on the Torah by the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim of Kosov, first edition, Lemberg, 1855.
The first edition of the holy Sefer Toras Chaim, including Imrei Kodesh on the Torah and varied compilations.
On the title page, an ownership notation "Yaakov Eliezer Weiskopel" and additional notations on the flyleaves.
The holy Rav Rabbi Chaim of Kosov (1795-1854). Was born to his father the holy Rav Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kosov. He married Mrs. Tziporah the daughter of the holy Rav Rabbi Yehuda Meir of Shpitokova and the granddaughter of the holy Rav of Koretz. He became an Admor in 1826 and mightily led his community. The greatest rabbis and Tzaddikim of his generation praised his greatness and holiness.
