Manuscript - Yemen, the 19th Century - Illustrated Title Page
Manuscript from Yemen. Including the laws of Kidushin, Gittin and Ketubot. At its end, "Tikum Purim", which is the Piyut "Mi Chamocha Ve'Ein Kamocha" by Rabbi Yehuda Ha'Levi. The style of writing is typical of the 19th century.
An inscriptiuon on the title page: "… Sa'id ben … Ujan ben Moshe Amar Ha'Levi…"
Framed stylish title page with verses in the frame.
Rabbi Se'adya ben Ujan ben Moshe Ha'levi, a writer of the 19th century, copied the book "Pirkei De'Rabbi Eliezer" (Encyclopedia Le'Chachmei Teiman pp. 435).
