Dedications in the Handwriting of the Most Prominent Kabbalists of Jerusalem
A. Ben Ya'ir – Derashot for various events with words of admonishment before the blowing of the Shofar. Jerusalem, 1926. First edition.
By Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Levton, one of the kabbalists of Aleppo, author of the book "Nochach Ha'Shulchan". With the book "Veyikach Ovadya" by his grandson, Rabbi Ovadya Hadaya.
Published by the author's grandson, Rabbi Ovadya Hadya, from the manuscript.

On the reverse side of the title page, a dedication printed in golden ink filled out by hand (4 lines and a signature) in the handwriting of Rabbi Ovadya Hadaya.
The kabbalist Rabbi Ovadya Hadaya (1890-1969), the son of the eldest kabbalist Rabbi Shalom Hadaya, served as a member of the Beit Din of Jerusalem and was the founder of the "Beit El" kabbalist yeshiva in the new city of Jerusalem. Author of the "Yaskil Avdi" responsa, eight sections and of additional books.
(8) 204 leaves.
Condition: Excellent.
B. Hakuntras Ha'Yechieli, by the kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Alafya. Jerusalem, 1928. First edition.
Divided into three sections: "Beit Hasehm" explaining how a person is to behave in a synagogue, with words of Mussar to the youth. "Beit Olamim", with 15 chapters explaining the foundations of Jewish Tikunim and customs. Beit Ha'Adam" explaining man's duty towards his creator and Tikun Ha'Bayit.
The title page does not mention the author's name; however, it is known that the book was written by Rabbi Yitzchak Alafya.

On the leaf after the title page a handwritten inscription by the author with the stamp of Rabbi Yitzchak Alafya, who in his modesty did not write "the author" but "the publisher".

The kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Alafya (1878-1955) immigrated to Jerusalem as a child and studied at the "Beit El" kabbalist yeshiva. He re-established the custom of Ta'anit Dibur (Vow of Silence) on the days of Shovavim. He founded the "Or Chadash Ve'Tzemach Tzaddik" Yeshiva. Author of "Si'ach Yitzchak", "Re'ach Le'Yitzchak" and more. He was known as a miracle-maker and a man with a Divine spirit (which is reflected in the book before us, which contains hints about the future). The Rishon Le'Zion, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, said of him that he was one of the 36 hidden Tzaddikim of the generation and supported him in his old age.
(1), 99, (1), 88, 84 leaves.
