Erech Ha'Kavana Be'Tefilin - Vienna, 1933 - Derasha for a Bar Mitzva - A Unique Book
Erech Ha'Kavana Be'Tefillin – The Bar Mitzva speech of Alexander Zev son of Rabbi Yaakov Zvi known as Dr. Brunner who gave the speech on Shabbat Parshat HaChodesh 1933. Vienna, 1933. Single edition.
The entire booklet is in blue ink. All of the booklet's pages have borders.
At the beginning of the booklet is a "Letter" by Rabbi Yaakov Zvi to his son the Bar Mitzva boy. At the bottom of each page are the speech's sources from the Bible and the Talmud.
An interesting paragraph at the end of the speech: "Therefore, I accept upon myself before you to give my entire soul to my nation and not to be distracted for even a minute from our land, our birthplace, for as we learned in the Talmud that it is forbidden to be distracted from the Tefillin because the name of G-d is in them, how much more so does the Land of Israel apply here, where the eyes of G-d are constantly on it from the beginning of the year until the end of the year, how much more so that we are forbidden to be distracted from it for even a moment".
19 pages. 16 cm.
