Halachot Ketanot - Venice, 1704 - First Edition

Halachot Ketanot – "Part one and two of the responsa which he investigated and prepared each and every Shabbat on Friday to bring to the "Beit Yaakov" study hall in Jerusalem", by Rabbi Yaakov Chagiz. Brought to print by his son, Rabbi Moshe Chagiz (the Rishon L'Zion, known as HaMeniach) with many additions from this son inserted into the book as explained in his introduction. Venice, 1704. First edition.
At the end of part one: Leket HaKemach, 13 responsa from Rabbi Moshe Chagiz, and laws of Nazir by Rabbi Moharikash (letter 14).
At the end of part two: a booklet about gittin, names on gittin, by the Rabbis: Rabbi Simcha HaCohen, Rabbi Moshe Galanti (HaMagen, Rabbi Moshe Chagiz's grandfather), and Rabbi Moshe Chagiz. With a name system in the handwriting of Rabbi Aharon ben Chaim (author of the "Korban Aharon").
At the beginning of the book is a long introduction by Rabbi Moshe Chagiz about the greatness of his father Rabbi Yaakov Chagiz. Five approbations from the great Rabbis of Livorno, approbation of Rabbi David Oppenheim of Vienna, Rabbi Chanaya Kazis, and the approbation of four of the Rabbis of Venice.
