Two title pages for section A and an additional title page for section B.
The book Chovat Ha'Levavot with the commentary under it.
On the reverse side of the title page of section B, words of Mussar for women by Rabbi Chaim Vital were printed.
Ownership inscription on the title page.
147, (2), 39, 39-54, 58-92 [should be 92] leaves. 14 cm.
This is the last book (among three) that had ever been printed in Suwalki!
Condition: Good. No binding. Moth holes.

B. Chovat Ha'Levavot, with the "Tuv Ha'Levanon" commentary by Rabbi Yisrael Ha'Levi of Zamosch. Wein, 1809. First edition.
Rabbi Yisrael of Zamosch was a Ram in Zamosch. Served as a member of the Beit Din of Rabbi Daniel Yaffe in Berlin, one of the scholars of Brody. He was close to the kabbalist Rabbi Yo'el ba'al Shem of Zamosch. His compositions: "Even Yisrael", "Nezer Ha'Dema", "Otzar Nechmad" on the "Kuzari" and more.

Condition: Good. Moth damage.

C. Chovat Ha'Levavot "Or La'Yesharim", by Rabbi Raphael Firshteitel of Breslau. Breslau, 1835.
With German translation (in Hebrew letters), column by column. On the margins of the leaves, "commentary" in Hebrew. With introductions by the translator into German and the translator into Hebrew.
The book was published chapter by chapter. The copy before us is until the end of the chapter of "Avodat Ha'Elohim".
With an approbation by Rabbi Zalman Tiktin from the 8th of Tevet 1835.
Condition: Excellent.
