An Interesting Letter from Rabbi Chaim Kreiswirth
A typewritten letter, signed with the handwritten signature of Rabbi Chaim Kreiswirth. To Rabbi Aaron Milevsky, the Rabbi of Uruguay.
In the letter Rabbi Kreiswirth brings a request for help on behalf of a widow, a Holocaust survivor who wants to attain an entrance permit in order for her son to emigrate to Uruguay in order to preserve his Judaism.
In the letter Rabbi Kreiswirth adds something interesting: "I would not bother him with this matter if I did not know that he is a student of Slabodka, where they elevated the character trait of loving kindness and were happy to do people a favour…".
On the letter's margins the young man's name and details are added.
Condition: Good. Folding signs.
