Three Important Letters by Va'ad Chassidei Slonim in Favor of the "Or Torah" Yeshiva in Tiberius - Kobryn, 1906
Three letters by Va'ad Chassidei Slonim in Favor of the "Or Torah" Yeshiva in Tiberius on the official stationery of the Va'ad, which was located in Kobryn. The letters are addressed to the directors of the yeshiva in Tiberius. The letters are signed by Rabbi Azriel Yesha'aya [Leichtung], rabbi Mordechai Shimon Ha'Cohen [ben Rabbi Zvi Hirsch] an dthe Shadar rabbi Yitzchak Matityahu Sandberg.
The letters contain details about various philanthropists and their requests for prayers at the holy places and different reports about fundraising activities for the yeshiva. The Ridbaz and the Rebbe of Warka are mentioned.
