A Manuscript of Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv - Fiery Words about the Abandonment of the Torah in our Times (Seems to Have Been Written at the Time of the Establishment of the State of Israel)
Two leaves on which is a special sermon in Rabbi Elyashiv's handwriting. The content is: novaelle on the first few verses of Parshat Bereishit, words of Mussar and rebuke: "…and in our time…[people] are leaving the Torah one after the other, throwing a final divorce to all of the holy Jews and those very very few who remain…". Amongst other things, the Rabbi writes about periods of spiritual weakening which the Jewish people have been through, in the time of the Judges and others.
It seems that this was written at the time of the establishment of the State of Israel.
3 pages written densely, 20cm.
Condition: Good. Slight blemishes on the margins of one of the leaves.
