Manuscript by Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv - Torah Novellae he had Heard from his Teacher Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Herzog
A leaf with Torah Novellae in the handwriting of Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv. At the head of the leaf, he had written "from Ha'GRYIH" - The Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Ha'Levi Herzog, the Chief Rabbi. As is well known, Rabbi Herzog is the one who introduced Rabbi Elyashiv to the world of Dayanut and the Chief Rabbinate.
Among others, Rabbi Elyashiv writes: "Who is the one who opposes the Gog and Magog…? The Yeshiva student, who studies Talmud. He is the fighter who overpowers the evil kingdom and all those who stand up against God and against the Jewish nation".
One leaf written on both its sides.
