Letter Signed by Rabbi Avraham Zvi Ha'Levi Rosh Av Beit Din of Tiberius - 1882
Letter from a Jew, resident of Tiberius, to the directors of Chevrat Pkidim Ve'Amarkalim asking for monetary support for his family, which is hungry for food.
At the margins of the letter, a recommendation signed by Rabbi Avraham Zvi Ha'Levi, Rosh Av Beit Din of Tiberius (1826-1894). Rabbi Ha'Levi also headed a yeshiva he had founded in Tiberius. He headed "Bikur Cholim" and "Chevrat Yishuv Eretz Ha'Kodesh" for agricultural settlement.
Nice stamp of the Beit Din of Tiberius, with an illustration of the grave site of Rabbi Meir Ba'al Ha'Nes at its center.
