a. A book of regulations from the Moshava "Nachalat Yisrael Rama". Jerusalem, 1921. Moriah Printing Press. 8 pages. Extremely rare!
The company "Nachalat Yisrael – Rama" was founded in 1886 with the aim of establishing a Jewish settlement close to Nebi Saumel. Amongst the organization's founders were Rabbi Yaakov Mendelbaum, Rabbi Yitzchak Rubinstein and Rabbi Yitzchak Zvi Rivlin. The 60 founders were mainly members of the Old Yishuv of Jerusalem.
In the riots of 1929 the settlers had to abandon the settlement, and their Arab neighbors destroyed the houses and removed the border stones. After the War of Independence Jewish settlements were built there, and today the Ramot neighborhood stands in that location.
b. HaKfar Ha'Ivri. Agudah Hadadit. Founded by the Mizrachi Federation. Laws of the Company. Jerusalem, 1923. Rare and interesting.
The Jewish Village was established north of Jerusalem, on the road to Nablus. Its name was changed to Neve Yaakov after Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Reines, the founder of the "Mizrachi" movement. The village was destroyed in the War of Independence, and in 1970 the neighborhood Neve Yaakov was established as one Jerusalem's neighborhoods.
c. Regulations and Rules of the Beit Va'ad HaKlali Knesset Yisrael. Jerusalem, 1905. Contains letters from the leading Rabbis of the generation.
d. Regulations of Beit HaKerem – Aguda Hadadit Ba'm. Jerusalem, 1939. Printed by stencil over six large leaves.
Condition: Good-Very Good.
