Sefer Imrei Bina, second section, Novellae on Choshen Mishpat by Rabbi Meir Auerbach, the rabbi of Jerusalem. On the title page, the stamp of the author "Rosh Av Beit Din De'Kollelot Ashkenazim" and his signature: "Ha'Mechaber" (the author).
Rabbi Meir Auerbach (1815-1878), Av Beit Din of Kalisch and one of the greatest rabbis of his generation. In 1859, he immigrated to the Land of Israel and was the first rabbi who was officially appointed as the rabbi of the Ashkenazic community of Jerusalem. He was also a great kabbalist and studied at the kabbalist yeshiva "Beit El". He was known for his activity for the settlement of the country.
Condition: good. The back cover is missing. Moth damage, mainly on the cover. Four pages at the end of the book are missing (indices).
