Knesset Ha'Gedolah. On the Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat. By Rabbi Chaim Benveniste. Second edition.
On the book's title page are ancient signatures: "I raise my soul to you G-d, the small one Shlomo Ulman" – maybe this is the author of the "Yeriot Shlomo", Av Beit Din of Mako.
Additional signature: "Chaim Aryeh Leib of Szczecin of Lida". Inscription: "This book belongs to the Rabbi the Genius, the famous Tzadik Rabbi Chaim Aryeh of Stavik" (a village next to Szczecin). Rabbi Chaim Aryeh Leib Rotenberg-Mishkovsky, the Rabbi of Stavik, one of the famous Rabbis of Lithuania. One of the students of "Kibbutz HaPrushim" in Eshishuk, and a close friend of the "Chofetz Chaim", who learnt with him one-on-one and even proposed that he write a composition like the "Mishneh Berurah" before he began writing it himself. Rabbi of Orlova, Szaldok and Stavik. The father of Rabbi Chizkiyahu Yosef Mishkovsky Av Beit Din of Krynica. Known as a righteous man and a miracle worker. Material enclosed.
