On the first leaf, the signature of Rabbi Menashe Salman Sharabani.
Throughout the book, dozens of halachic glosses in his handwriting.
Rabbi Menashe Salman Sharabani (1881-1960) the head of a yeshiva in Babylon. In his youth, he studied at the well-known "Beit Zilcha" Beit Midrash. Despite his young age, he was an exceptional student and ws known for his proficiency of the Talmud. He was close to the Ben Ish Chai, who taught him scribal writing, Shechita and Milah. He was head of the yeshiva in Babylon and was a rabbi of several towns in Persia. He wrote more than 42 compositions, of which only two ere printed: "Aggadah Mekubetzet" and "Igeret Ha'Purim".
The glosses are in pencil in miniscule script. Additional inscriptions and stamps from Bagdad.
