Torat Zevach - the laws of Shechita and Trefot in alphabetic order. By the Rishon Le'Zion Rabbi Chaim David Chazan, the son of Rabbi Raphael Yosef Chazan, the author of "Chikrei Lev". Jerusalem, 1884. Second edition. Prepared for printing by Rabbi Chizkiyahu Shabtai (with Torah Novellae by him at the end of the book). Printed by the partners Rabbi A.G.N. and Shmuel Ha'Levi Zuckerman.
At the beginning of the book, important approbations by the greatest rabbis of Izmir - Rabbi Chaim Palagi and Rabbi Yehoshua Avraham Krispin and the approbation of the Rishon Le'Zion the "Yissa Berachca".
Throughout the book, dozens of glosses in Moroccan script (Marrakesh), mainly glosses of referrals to Halacha and Responsa books, especially the book "Zivchei Tzedek" (Bagdad, 1899) and books of the Rabbis of Morocco.
At the end of the volume, 14 leaves written on both sides of responsa regarding Shechita and Trefot. Different handwriting - Moroccan style, later period. Most likely from the first decades of the 20th century. The identity of the writer is unknown.
Condition: Good. Original cover, detached and slightly damaged.
