The book Shaagat Aryeh by Rabbi Aryeh Leib Gunzberg. Munich 1947. Published by the Va'ad Hatzala. The is the first Torah book which the Va'ad Hatzala in Germany printed after the Holocaust, as Rabbi Naftali Barod writes in the introduction before the title page: "the lack of books for the people of the book in Germany, aroused us to print books which are vital for Yeshiva students, rabbis and Torah scholars…the first book which we succeeded in publishing…is the valuable book Shaagat Aryeh…". The introduction also appears in English.
On the book's title page is printed: "a gift from the Va'ad Hatzala to the She'erit Hapleta".
