[2], 75 pages. Ownership signatures and notations, including "H. Solomon Spitzer", "The renowned Gaon Rabbi Zalman Spitzer...", "Yeshaya Ben Yaakov ... of Vishnitzia", "Note Aberndorf" and stamp of "Shlomo Baumgarten Wien". With editing on page 70.


The Gaon Rabbi Binyamin Shlomo Zalman Spitzer ben Rabbi Yaakov David Halecu [1826-1893], the son-in-law of the Chasam Sofer and author of the sefer of sermons and innovations "Tikkun Shlomo". A leading disciple of the Maharam Schick in his Beis Midrash in Hust and the disciple of the Mahram Ash in Ungvar and of his future brother-in-law, the "Ketav Sofer" of Pressburg. Since 1852, he was the leader of the Pressburg community in Vienna and since 1858 served as Rabd of Vienna. In 1872, he departed from his community, the 'Adat Yisrael' community, the general Jewish community of Vienna. After his passing, he was buried in Pressburg and among his  eulogizers was Rabbi Yosef Baumgarten. 


Rabbi Shlomo Baumgarten [1904-1981] the Rav of the "Shifschull" community in Vienna and Rav of the "Tirat Etz Chaim' community in London. Taught Torah for more that fifty years. Published the sefer "Pardes Yosef" written by his father, Rabbi Yosef baumgarten, Rabd of the "Schifschull" community.
