A Passport of the German Reich [Deutsches Reich Reisepass] Which Was Given to the Jew Martin Weiser, Who Was Murdered a Few Months Later – Vilna, March 1939
On the cover is the insignia of the Third Reich. On the first page is a large stamp – the letter J [Jude], in red. On the second page are the pictures of Martin and Leah Weiser, a couple in their fifties. On the fourth page is a stamp: Inland Ausland.
The Weisers did not manage to take advantage of the passport they were given; a few months after it was issued the War broke out. Martin was one of the first to be murdered in the Holocaust – only a month after the beginning of the war.
32 pages.
Condition: Good. The cover is coming off the passport.
