A large part of the letter deal with the liberation of an Agunah. In the second page, Rabbi Wolk added several lines asking about the family.
Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Ha'Cohen Wolk (1856-1907) the rabbi of Pinsk and the author of 'Keter Kehuna' on the Sifri. On eof the greatest rabbis of his time.
Rabbi Mordechai Gimpel Yaffe (1820-1892), the rabbi of Ruzhany (White Russia). He was among the immigrants of Ha'Aliya Ha'Rishona and served as the rabbi of Yahud. The close friend of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Kalisher and Rabbi Shmuel Mohilever. He was greatly admired for his greatness in the Torah. Rabbi Diskin participated in his funeral which took place in Petach Tikvah, although he usually did not leave Jerusalem.
One full page and few lines on the reverse side of the page. Handwriting and signature.

Condition: Good. Small tears with slight damage to the text. On the right margins, a strip was glued to the page to keep the page whole and it slightly covers the text on the other side.
