Kuntres Drushei Chatunah Given Directly by the Rebbe - Kislev 17, 1992

Kuntres Drushei Chatunah - containing Chassidic Mamarim about weddings said by the Rebbe the Rayatz in Kislev, 1929, relating to the wedding of his daughter the Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka with the Rebbe who eventually succeeded him and became the seventh Admor of the dynasty. The Kuntres was published for the first time in the year the Mamarim were said, 1929, in Riga and was then reprinted in 1992 for the 43 wedding anniversary of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin.

The Kuntres: glossy, light-blue cover on which it was printed in red: "Kuntres Drushei Chatunah". Quality paper. It contains the Drushei Chatunah and two Mamarim by the Rebbe Shlita from 1954 and 1979 based on the Mamarim from 1929.

Kislev 17 1992

A description that was written in those days in Yoman Mibet Chayeinu recalls the day of the Chalukah: "At the end of the prayer, the Rebbe Shlita entered his room and at 1:30 came out for the Chalukah of the Kuntresim. This time, the Chalukah was not downstairs, but near the entrance to the Rebbe's room... the door was open and the dollar table was close to the entrance and so he stood and handed out the Kuntres... to men, women and children...thousands of people passed by the Rebbe Shlita and for this reason - the masses of people - almost no one managed to talk to the Rebbe, only pass by quickly, get a fleeting glance of the king's illuminated face and leave happily with a special gift..."
