Like other great Italian rabbis, Rabbeinu too not to sit idle and in the section of Parpera'ot LaChochmah introduces fine riddles, illustrationsn and rhymed poems. In his introduction he writes about this: "עלה במחשבתי להעתיק פה מה שמצאתי ג"כ בין כתבי קצת חדות ושירים אשר חדתי ושרתי בזמנים ידועים וקראתים בכללם פרפראות לחכמה להיותם כולם מיוסדים על דברי רז"ל כאשר יראה הרואה אותם". In adiditon, inside the work, between the tractates, he added a summarizing, poetic line. Sofei HaAnavim mentioned above contains compilations and more.
