Post Incunabula! The First Rambam that was Printed with Hasagot HaRavad and the Maggid Mishneh - Kushta, 1509
The Rambam's Mishneh Torah / Hayad Hachazakah Sefer Nashim. Third edition (post-incunabula era) and the first introducing three of the basic works on the Rambam: Hasagot HaRavad, which became in inseparable part of the book, the Maggid Mishneh by Rabbi Vidal de Tolsha and Hagahot Maimoniyot by Rabbi Meir Cohen - these Hagahot were before the Beit Yosef and are not identical to those that were printed in later editions.
Printed by exiles from Spain that reached Turkey - the Press of David and Shmuel ben Nachmias - Constantine, 1509. 98 leaves. In the National LIbrary, the book appears, of course, in the Rare Book Collection. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod 141. Wide margins. No binding. Moth perforations and damage. Stains. Fair-poor overall condition.
On the first leaf, an intermittent Sephardic notation. A single gloss on the margin of the sheet and at its end, a lengthy notation in Sephardic script.
