Rare and handsome: Sefer HaShorashim by the Radak. Venice 1546.
Sefer HaShorashim by Rabbi David ben Yosef Kimchi HaSfardi (the Radak), one of the Rishonim. An important, foundational work of Hebrew grammar, organized alphabetically, originally attached as the second section of his work the Michlol. Printed in Venice by Daniel Bombirgi, 1546. Categorized as rare by the National Library, the University of Haifa, and Bar Ilan. 143, [1] leaves.

The last page has a pretty poem “Ilzu bechol Levav” by Rabbi Eliyahu HaMesader. The title page has a pretty woodcut engraving. This is a pretty copy in new, handsome leather binding. Dark stains, handsome copy in rare condition for a book this old and important.

The title page has an old note of ownership, blurred and repaired, in Italian-Ashkenazi script.
