Porat Yosef, a pamphlet regarding the setting of an eruv in Frankfurt-am-Mein, by the Av Beit Din of the city, printed by Elimelech Slobotzky, 1914. 47 pages. Jacket binding, printed original. Light defects, overall good condition.
The work was written by Rav Nobel to certify the eruv made in the city which had been disqualified by Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Brauer—the son-in-law and successor of the Rashar Hirsch. This controversy continued for a number of years and many halachic tshuvot were written on the subject, from both sides.
