Lot of posters from Jerusalem printers, mostly from charity organizations. Jerusalem, 1920s
Lot of posters, membership certificates, other paper documents of charity organizations in Jerusalem, and calls for modest dress. Jerusalem, 1920s. Lot includes the following items:
1. A call for protest on issues of modesty for women, by Rabbi Ben Zion Alfas—Jerusalem 1929.
2. Nezer Gabaut Kodesh—from the Talmud Torah and Yeshiva Kiryat Sefer in Jerusalem. Missing the year of printing.
3. Large poster of the Ohel Yaakov and Degel Torah yeshiva of the Sefardi community in Tiberias. Missing the location and year of printing.
4. Membership certificate of the Mifal Or MiZion. Jerusalem, 1940s.
5. New Year’s letter and a report from the activity o the United Charity of Jerusalem, Yeshivat Etz Chaim, Bikkur Cholim Hospital. Printed in Hebrew, on the back is an English translation. Salomon printing, Jerusalem, missing the year of printing.
