Rare Chanukiya/menorah meant to be hung or to stand, stamped silver. Iraq, beginning 20th century

8-branched menorah (chanukiya) with rounded holders for candles, casting/welding/screwed-in pieces, original Iraqi work.

The uniqueness of this menorah lies in that it can be hung on the wall or can be taken apart and screwed together in an alternate manner to be stood up—it is suitable for a synagogue or for the home (see pictures).

Stamped 925. Weight: 986g. Height: 35cm. Max width: 24cm. Slight bend in one of the candleholders, overall very good condition.
