Fascinating antique chanukiah made of silver. Base is marked 800 silver, Austria Hungary, late 19th century. Beneath the candle holders, at either side, are two dragon-like characters, facing outward. Beautiful, delicate engraving all over the body and base. Weight: 687g. 42cm height x 23cm width x 13cm depth. A stunning piece of Judaica. Provenance: This chanukiah has been in this particular Jewish family for generations and the current owners inherited it directly (had it sent from the Czech Republic to their home in Sweden).
