Chochmas Hayad Vehapartzuf with Yiddish Translation. Frankfurt an der Oder, 1776
A sefer that reveals the wisdom of palm and face reading with the signs of hair, tendons and nails in Hebrew and Yiddish. Rabbi Eliyahu Galino compiled this sefer based on the Zohar, sefer Shoshanas Yaakov, and the writings of Shlomo Hamelech.
An illustration of a palm depicting various lines and their meanings appears on the title page.
This exceptionally rare edition with Yiddish translation is not listed in Otzar Sefer HaIvri..
Frankfurt an der Oder, 1776. [8] leaves. Page size 17 cm. Cropped upper margins with a small amount of title missing on several leaves. Good condition. New leather binding.
