Two sefarim of scripture which were inscribed during ancient times known as sefarim chitzonim (Jewish apocrypha). these scriptures were excluded by chaza”l as not to be recognized as part of the holy Tanach.

1. Ben Sira – Wisdom and mussar in the original Aramaic version, complete with commentaries in lashon hakodesh and Latin.

 Chaza”l refer to Ben Sira and quote it in several places in the Gemara (e.g. Chagigah 13a; Yevamosi 63b; Kesubos 110b).

2. Sefer Toviya – A work recounting the chessed, prayers and miracles that occurred to the heroes of the book – the father Tovi, and his son Tovia. This sefer was authored in lashon hakodesh and includes both the original Hebrew and Latin translation by the printer Paulo Baggios.

Isna, 1542. Page Count: [57] sides. Page Size: 20.5 cm. Sefer Toviya has a partial title page and the last leaf features the printer’s emblem upon the entire page. Condition: Good with attractive margins. Slightly worn antique leather binding.
