Sefer Tehillim with the commentary of Rabbi Dovid Kimchi, the Radak.

 The present edition features the Radak’s complete expansive commentary on Tehillim, in contrast to later editions (Cremona 1561) which substantially abridged the commentary, most future editions of Radak published only the abridged version; this edition presents the original full commentary and is very rare.

Rabbeinu Dovid Kimchi, known to many as “Gadol Hamedakdekim, Greatest of the Grammarians”. The Radak dwelled in Narbonne, Provence and then in Spain, where he engaged in several famous debates against Christians and defended the Rambam from his critics. His commentary on Nach is regarded as one of the most fundamental commentaries of all time. It was said “If there is no ‘kemach’ [flour], there is no Torah, ” which is an allusion to his name ‘Kimchi’ (Rabbi Dovid Ibn Yichya in his introduction to Kav V’naki [Lisbon, 1492).

The Chida in Shem Hagedolim (Vol. 2) recommends learning Sefer Tehillim with the Radak’s commentary.

The last [2] leaves are entitled “Responses by the Radak to Christians”. These pages which contain arguments against Christianity were omitted by the censorship from the majority of copies and are extremely rare, yet are excellently preserved in the present copy.
